To become a pro at anything, you need to have the right mindset.

Here are 7 mindset shifts that will make you a pro reader:
1/ Reading Is A Skill That You Can Learn

Pro readers understand that reading, like playing tennis or driving a car, is a skill.

It's something they can improve on by learning reading strategies such as, how to:

• Find interesting books
• Read faster
• And much more
2/ It's Okay To Quit Books

Pro readers know it's okay to quit bad books.

Reading should never feel like a chore or a bore.

It's much better to quit one book than it is to quit all books.
3/ Write In Your Books To Get More Out of Them

Pro readers write in their books.

They know they won't remember all the important information they learned, so they jot it down to review it later.

As the saying goes: The faintest ink is more powerful than the strongest memory
4/ Reading More ≠ Reading Better

Pro readers know that it's not about how many books you get through, but how many books get through you.

Sometimes instead of picking up that new shiny book, spend some time reviewing the last book you read or rereading a life-changing book.
5/ Short Books Still Count As Books

Pro readers don't judge books by their length but by their depth.

And they respect authors who value their time by cutting out any fluff from their books.

It's not about how long a book is that matters, but how deep it is.
6/ There's No One "Best" Book Medium

Each medium (audio, ebook, print) has its own pros and cons.

Pro readers experiment with all three and switch up their book medium depending on the circumstance.

Find which medium(s) work best for you.
7/ If You Want To Read More You Need To Prioritize It

Pro readers know it's not about making time to read, it's about prioritizing time to read.

Ex:

They read for 15 mins before checking their phone or for 30 mins before turning on Netflix.

Prioritize your reading time.
That's it for now...
