How to improve outcomes for immigrant youth -- @ShaunDonovanNYC wants to improve outcomes for
English language learners by increasing opps via more programs; need more teachers of color via recruiting and retention.
. @diannemorales, as a former educator: wants every student has access to good schools; increase teacher diversity program; implement culturally responsive programs and hire a chancellor that meets the students where they are.
On housing and homelessness: @Dianne4NYC says she will call for a guarantee of housing as a human right and creating pathways for affordable housing for people. She wants to appoint a deputy mayor who will assume responsibility for creating programs to provide permanent housing.
@ShaunDonovanNYC says he has seen homelessness since he was a kid & worked in the field as a result. So, he will begin by making sure that folks can stay in their home. via Rental assistance. He wants to fix public housing & build more affordable housing.
