Disability justice efforts have to mobilize at a global scale. I’m noticing significantly less attention to the tweets about Palestine. My account is about the Disability experience & Disability justice, but Disability justice is intertwined with other forms of oppression.

We can’t be silent. Many disabilities result from the violence of colonial powers. There are so many fundraising efforts to support Palestinians who have been disabled by colonial violence.

Usually y’all constantly engage with my tweets about Disability justice but there’s less engagement towards the Palestine liberation cause.

The fight for Disability justice doesn’t occur in a vacuum, ableism always works in tandem with colonialism, racism, and capitalism. Disability justice involves resisting these structures and actively working towards the liberation of all oppressed people.
