GIRLLLLLLL UR JUST REMOVING THE GODDAMN BACKGROUND. speedpaints don't look like this. speedpaints are literal lineart being drawn BY HAND in a timelapse. you don't just start off with the full piece colored and drawn. 😐 https://twitter.com/bakedthatmuffin/status/1390401857093128193
plus if this actually took u 10 hours (which it didn't), the speedpaint timelapse would be WAYYY longer than a minute. the "replay" (or speedpaint auto-generated by ibispaint) multiplies the drawing process by about x8 the original speed to make it faster.
10 hours.... the speed of that would be 600 minutes exactly. the seconds would amount to 36000.

36000 x 1/8 of the speed.... 4500 seconds.

4500 seconds (in minutes) would be about 75 minutes in a speedpaint. (ibispaint probably would have realized this and divided it +
+ by more than 8, but still.

QUIT LYING........ LOL
(actually, since i'm feeling nerdy today, let's divide this by more than 8.)

so! we'll start of again with 36000 seconds.

let's divide it by 10 this time, instead of 8 (therefore reducing the total speed of the speedpaint in general so its not an hour n 15 minutes.)
36000 x 1/10 = 3600.

3600 seconds converted to minutes is 60 minutes. that's an hour worth of a speedpaint.

again, we could divide it by higher numbers, but ibispaint has a limit and they won't speed it up to the point where 10 hours amounts to a MINUTE's worth of a speedpaint.
end of thread
(ALSO ONE LAST THING TO KEEP IN MIND):

if ibispaint were to speed up a 10 hour session of art making to a minute's worth of a speedpaint, it'd be so fast that nobody could see anything going on. so. LOL.
