Suddenly the dog's surgery is today.

Next comes eight weeks of crate confinement. Healing. And then she will be allows to walk and later run!

It's been a year since she was allowed to run.

Ruby staying overnight. She must be so scared to wake up in pain in a strange place

Ruby still at the vet. I'm reading the instructions. 6 months of recovery next.

Her leg bone was sawn, trimmed, realigned, and the put together with plates and screws.

Also my savings account was swept clean

Now crawling thru lower hutt traffic with a dog crying.

The cone wasn't stopping her reaching her knee, it was just scrapping and banging on the area, so I took it off and now she is sleeping.
