can we talk about how 11's regeneration is the best of new who?

not only does it have a beautiful message about change throughout life which I find much more inspiring and relatable than 10's crying or 12's long speech but it's scored wonderfully manages to integrate an old companion in well without changing other stuff

has a new regeneration effect that is a nice change from the "arms out" style we usually get and if you love that we even get that in the clocktower scene which is just awesome imo

I mean yeah I don't love the line about the daleks being "worried that the doctor has something up his sleeve" but their surprise when he breaks the rules is great imo, I love the "first face this face saw" line and "I will always remember when the doctor was me"

It's the perfect "actor speaking through the character line" without it feeling too ott I love how the bow tie is like a metaphor for 11 letting go of his more child like demeanor I love that he eats fish fingers and custard one last time before his tastes change

I think the reason it beats 9's for me is that the kiss always kinda weirds me out a bit almost as if that molds 10 into the perfect bf for rose but that is really just a nitpick and that regeneration is definitely number 2

I will say if you don't like 11's era this isn't gonna do much to change your mind but it just hits all the right buttons for me
