Not too long ago someone was sharing an Uncle Bob video on the discourse.
I pointed out that uncle bob is a racist and sexist and my post was flagged as inflammatory.
Calling a racist a racist is apparently not welcome.

Yet when someone points out that evading/circumventing GitHub blocks isn’t acceptable this turns into a shit storm.

The future of Nix depends on solving a couple of difficult problems, among them:
Technical guidance, direction and decision making in a transparent manner through elected representation of the community replacing vague RFCs and decision making by a few individuals.

Unsurprisingly those who have established a position of power and influence are those who seem the least interested in making such changes happen -
While at the same time being the best equipped and enabled to do so.

The post on the video has been flagged but only 1 person points out that this video doesn’t help.

Please take a moment to think about the effect this has, the precedent this sets.
If you have a problem inside the community, feel targeted or harassed there is nowhere to go, so you can only speak for yourself and f.ex publish a post on discourse.
After this, who would do that
