Most everyone selling on Twitter uses Gumroad to sell their products.

The traditional way to use Gumroad has been to use their tools as an all-in-one solution, but what if there was a better way?

A Thread 🧵
Email marketing is super important to be able to follow up with interested prospects or buyers.

In Gumroad, the interested prospects is missing from the process.

Let's fix that!

Go to https://metjohn.com/carrd  and create an account.

After you've done that, continue reading...
Now, you will need to write out your sales page.

I'm not going to cover how to do that in this thread, but here is a simple formula to follow:

1. Attention
2. Interest
3. Desire
4. Action

You can do a quick search on Google for more info:

It's time to move your sales copy to Gumroad and Carrd.

Having the sales page in Gumroad will allow for affiliates to promote your page with the same copy.

After you've got your sales copy in Carrd, you need to style things a bit to make them look good.

Again, use Google!
At the bottom of your sales page, you will need to add your Gumroad checkout button.

Link that button to your Gumroad checkout.

It's very simple in Carrd to do so:

Tip: Click Auto-trigger payment form in the Carrd element settings.
Now, for the secret sauce...

Under you Gumroad purchase button, create an optin form to capture leads from those who decide not to purchase right away.

You then have a list of interested buyers who just weren't ready to purchase yet!

Here is an example 👇
Even more secret sauce...

You can create an integration on Zapier to add all buyers to a buyers list in your autoresponder.

Create a trigger for Gumroad and set it to sale.

Then, add each purchaser to your autoresponder as an action.

You now have full control of your buyers!
