Governor of Illinois said today that even in Phase 5 - anticipated on June 11th - the mask mandate will be in place "to protect those who are unvaccinated"?

Um, no.

This makes zero sense for at least three reasons... [THREAD]

1) "The unvaccinated" include natural immunity from prior infection or T-cells. They aren't dead & will be fine

2) "The unvaccinated" don't want or need the Governor's protection. Cloth doesn't stop viruses, & everyone who wants a vaccine can get one. Nothing prevents it.

Just like with flu (which cloth doesn't stop either).

3) The vaccinated & unvaccinated include people who aren't at risk of severe outcomes from COVID infection. Why make them continue to pretend they are sick or fearful?

Why force the vaccinated to pretend the vaccine doesn't work? Terrible PR for the vax, if nothing else

Here's what we need: Outcry from ALL Illinoisans, regardless of vax status, about the nonsensical year-plus, never-ending mandate. It's been a YEAR. Didn't work.

And you can't stand against it for adults, at least stand against it for kids & teens.
