What Arsenal should do on the transfer market.

So Arsenal have obviously had two very bad seasons. So what should they do on the transfer market? I think they should do like Liverpool did after their bad 15/16 season.

So in the 2015/16 season Liverpool finished 8th and had this team as their best. This is a team with many players considered as «deadwood» and Arsenal have a lot of those. Holding, Bellerin, Cedric, Elneny, Ceballos(leaving), Mari, Nketiah and Chambers are all examples of this.

So what did Liverpool do? They got rid of many of the «deadwood» players and bought players from other low rated Premier League teams. Wijnaldum(Newcastle), Mane(Southampton), Robertson(Hull)and Van Dijk(Southampton).

So who could Arsenal sign from lower rated PL clubs or even Championship clubs? Yves Bissouma(Brighton), Emi Buendia(Norwich), Tariq Lamptey(Brighton), Sander Berge(Sheffield Utd) and Joachim Andersen(Fulham) are all examples of these.

But Liverpool didn’t only sign players from other PL clubs, they signed from European clubs as well. Salah(Roma), Firmino(Hoffenheim), Alisson(Roma) and Fabinho(Monaco). All these clubs are good teams, but have never really been one of the biggest in the world.

So Arsenal are linked with players from this kind of clubs. Guido Hernandez(Real Betis), Houssem Aouar(Lyon) and Soumare(Lille) have been Linked with Arsenal for some time now.

Liverpool signed Van Dijk, Alisson and Fabinho for a big amount of money. They had to sell Coutinho to afford them. Arsenal don’t really have a player like that who they can sell for €100m+.

Arsenal should definetly sign a midielder, an AM, a RB, a CB and maybe a CF. Arsenal do have a good relationship with Lille so Sven Botman could be an option. They are heavily linked with Bissouma. Dusan Vlahovic and Wout Weghorst is players I personally like.

Klopp was specific on who he wanted, he even waited to Januaryto get Van Dijk instead of buying a CB in the summer. Its going to be interesting to see what Arsenal are going to do this summer.
