For India it was always going to be tough as due to limited resources we do not spend enough on health. Still we tackled the 1st wave well. 🚨🏳️💪😇

Inspite of the 2nd wave why we are confident of winning this war against the COVID pandemic ? 🇮🇳☠️👨‍⚕️🗣️ (1/n)
Indian doctors in usual circumstances too are trained to work relentlessly, they routinely work for 16-18 hours per day inspite of all adversities 😷👨‍⚕️⛑️🏥 (2/n)
Although during the initial phase of the pandemic we were caught off guard, oxygen shortage was tackled with support from industries and all other quarters slowly bridging the gap. Oxygen express, banning non-medical use, IAF/Navy help strengthened the chain further. 💨🚆🤝 (3/n)
PPE kit production has been stepped up which has eventually made us self reliant in this field. Also production of medical supplies has increased which would have long term benefits as well 🌍🏭🎭 🚑 (4/n)
With makeshift hospitals and expansion of beds in existent government hospitals the demand supply ratio is now nearing normalisation. Also with partial lockdown the state has achieved some success in breaking the chain of infection. 🛌🚑🚨🗣️
Use of technology to test, trace and treat. War rooms have been created, with medical students roped in (all very enthusiastic) the fight will only gain momentum. Also higher centers providing digital support to peripheral centers has helped. 🛎️🔥📢📱☎️
Needless to say we have already undertaken the world's largest vaccination drive. 💉🛡️🏹👍
