The thread of actors of who just straight up disappeared or who aren't working much that I randomly think about. Now here's a picture of Steven R. McQueen who has only worked once since 2018.
Steven R. McQueen is a strange case for an actor not working much. He's handsome and in his early 30's. He's the grandson of Hollywood royalty! Yet he has the worst career of any TVD alum. Maybe he doesn't want to be acting. I'm baffled otherwise.
Amy Yasbeck had a very hot career in the 90's. The Problem Child films (where she met John Ritter), Robin Hood: Men In Tights, Wings. Lots of good work. She hasn't acted since an episode Pretty Little Liars in 2016. Someone hire Amy if she still wants to work!
What exactly happened to Cam Gigandet? He went from supporting roles in high profile stuff to the career equivalent of tumbleweeds rolling by. He was apparently on a show on the Audience Network a few years back. Never heard of the network or the show.
Sam Jones III hasn't acted much since pleading guilty to drug charges in 2010. That ended up getting him booted from Blue Mountain State since he had to do 10 months in prison. He did return for the Blue Mountain State movie to the joy of that show's 72 fans.
I think Balthazar Getty's very public affair with Sienna Miller in 2008 did have an impact on his career. He did end up reconciling with his wife, but his career has never been the same after all that frolicking with Sienna. He hasn't been a series regular since that happened.
Thora Birch had a very promising career with buzzy roles in American Beauty and Ghost World, but it was downhill from there allegedly because of her momager. She was recently on Walking Dead, but unfortunately for her that show isn't as popular as it once was.
Mercedes McNab retired from acting after getting married to a real estate developer about a decade ago. Mercedes was a scene stealer on Buffy and Angel, so I'm glad she left acting on her own terms. I hope she's really happy.
Thomas Gibson hasn't done much since he exited Criminal Minds in 2016. This is understandable considering that he was fired for an on-set altercation with a writer of the series. I guess not a lot of projects want to deal with that.
James Lafferty's career hasn't been going that well since One Tree Hill ended. He's been doing better recently with his own project Everyone Is Doing Great, which is about actors struggling after a hit show ends. I guess write what you know.
