[TXT STORYLINE PLOT] (this might not be 100% accurate since the timeline of events is very scattered)

5 boys make a friendship pact with a star and over the years forget about it. They start to drift apart and fight, and everyone is being seen almost purposefully (1/2)

separating their friend group. Though Soobin feels left out of the group, not knowing why he's being ignored. They end up fighting to the point of drifting apart and breaking the pact. They then start to get abnormalities, leading to them meeting up again to deal with them. (2/2)

(keep in mind there is a lot more to this, Yeonjun burning down the school, the magic island, how they met back up, though this is the basic plot)

[BTS STORYLINE PLOT]

7 boys meet after being assigned to clean an old classroom as detention. They all become close friends Two years later, Jin has to go to the US for school. Once he comes back, his friends have all drifted away and keep dying or messing up their life. (1/2)

Jin is stuck in a time loop of trying to save them and himself at the same time, all while the group suffers trying to rebuild the bond they once had. (2/2)

These two storylines are connected in many ways, not just in the storyline being similar but their intentions and situations, in general, are almost identical when it comes to the dark side of it.

The thing they ESPECIALLY have in common is the thing that is to blame for everything they've gone through and continue to go through. The thing that caused the death and misery.

[THE "CAT"]

When Jin and Yeonjun/Soobin make their wishes, they come across a cat that says it can make a deal to help them, but it comes with a price. This isn't even a cat, it is an entity that can shapeshift into anything. Such as an animal, lights or a train, death, etc

"If you could turn back time, do you believe you can fix all the mistakes and save everyone?"

"It doesn't matter if I could turn back time. If I could fix all the mistakes and make us happy again, I would do anything."

"Find the map of the soul. Then all this can end."

Soobin's wish is youth while Yeonjun's wish is salvation, to keep him and his friends safe. Soobin's price is being ignored by his friends while Yeonjun's is the abnormalities they all get. Yeonjun keeps going to the cat, thinking it is of help but dies repeatedly.

ANYWAY Jin's wish is to revive his friends, putting him in a time loop where his friends are revived, however, the cat takes every chance it can to kill them (the cat does the same to txt with controlling Soobin and Yeonjun, the train, etc.) NOW HERE IS WHERE MY OWN THEORY IS

I think that Jin's price was putting him in the place we see in Film Out. A place similar to Magic Island. Magic Island was a dream place, half reality, the same place the train hit after everything started burning.

Jin was able to write 'save me' on the glass for Taehyung to see, this was because of the little reality in the place he's stuck in. A place that has access to all of the timelines.

I also think Jin is still with the boys, physically, but not the same. We can see this with both Soobin/Yeonjun and Jin, only after they make the deal with the cat. Soobin and Yeonjun are seen a lot more lifeless, while Jin is described the same way. (Notes below v)

Taehyung 30 April Year 22 (a week after the pact)

"The shock momentarily left me unable to move, Seokjin Hyung was sitting in the car. [...] I can't explain why I was so shocked. Cold. Dry. Empty. None of these words can properly explain his face."

This is partly the reason he and Taehyung fought the most. He had been so exhausted with trying to save them, as well as himself. Taehyung didn't know he was the key to it all, and lashed out at Jin, causing the fight. (Notes below v)

Taehyung 1 May Year 22

"His eyes were full of exhaustion and pity. Somebody grabbed my arm and stopped me from pushing the issue. I didn't have to look to know it was Namjoon Hyung. [...] 'Let me go. What right do you have to stop me?'" (1/3)

"'What do you know Hyung? You don't know anything. You think he's this great guy right?' He let go of my arm after that. [...] Perhaps I hoped he'd never let go, that he'd get angry and drag me out. [...] But Hyung let go of my arm, and I couldn't help but smirk." (2/3)

(To be clear, the fight in the Blood Sweat & Tears Japanese MV isn't their fight. Jimin and Jungkook holding down Taehyung while Hobi tries to throw a dart at him and Namjoon watches is just how Taehyung feels during the fight. Like all his friends are against him, not just Jin.)

(However, their actual fight IS in the MV, but only when Jin hits Taehyung and he stabs Jin. We can tell this by the lighting. As for Taehyung stabbing Jin, we don't know anything about that timeline except for what we see in this MV.)

Now let's go through Can't You See Me, the main video that shows how the deal Soobin and Yeonjun made with the cat slowly makes itself known. This next part is in order of what I think happened since I don't think the CYSM scenes are all chronological.

Before we continue, I want to say that this next part is ALL MY OWN THEORY based on what we know and what we see.

This part will also be a lot of photos and photo sequences, meaning a lot of tweets. But not too much text, so hopefully that's not too much LMAO SORRY*$%(#

[THE AFTERMATH OF THE DEAL IN ORDER]

All five of the boys go to Soobin's house for a sleepover. They bring cookies along with them and although Taehyun doesn't seem very happy, Soobin and the other boys are excited.

Soon Soobin becomes very upset. This is because the boys had started leaving him out of things. They no longer paid attention to him and became the youthful ones, even though HE was the one who made the deal for youth. This makes him annoyed at the boys and uninterested.

"Once again, I'm left alone."

Taehyun remains the same as he was when he arrived. Feeling annoyed as well from noticing Soobin and Yeonjun were hiding something (Much like Taehyung and Jin).

Yeonjun on the other hand, who wished for the boys to be safe and free of harm, is trying his best to keep the boys happy. Taking selfies, making smoothies, and watching a movie with them.

While eating dinner, Soobin seems to be in a better mood. Everyone is laughing and having fun, though Taehyun is still suspicious of Soobin and Yeonjun, upset that they wouldn't talk about whatever was wrong.

Beomgyu wants Taehyun to join the fun and tries to get rid of the tension by throwing food on Taehyun's shirt.

Though it doesn't work and it seems that only Yeonjun and he find it funny. Even Kai, who was happy before, is now bummed out by the awkward feeling.

Yeonjun notices that his plan to make them happy and keep them safe is failing. His wish was to make sure they are free of being hurt, to keep their friend group together. Yet it was falling apart despite his attempts.

Because of this, he makes another attempt at making them happy, a food fight. It seems to work, making everyone laugh and throw tomatoes all over the place..

Everyone except for Taehyun.

Taehyun seems to be more angry than having fun, using the food fight to let out his rage instead of have a good time.

Soobin realizes he's having to much fun and that he's still mad, so he explodes and screams out of frustration. He realizes Yeonjun isn't actually happy, but instead trying to ignore the deal they made by trying to satisfy everyone, even when he's being left out.

Taehyun and Yeonjun storm out. Yeonjun leaves because Soobin ruined his attempt at fixing things. Taehyun leaves after Yeonjun because him getting upset at Soobin is only more proof that there's something they are hiding.

All the boys leave Soobin's house, upset that they could even have a sleepover anymore without Soobin or Taehyun ruining things.

But just like how Yeonjun burned the door to the Magic Island, he realized he couldn't fix what he had done and left something for Soobin before leaving.

The friends he sees in his head, the ones he tried to fix, aren't what he has. He can't fix them.
