Borderline Personality Awareness Month - A Thread.

The aim of the month is to break the stigma that we are manipulative, toxic, abusive, and nasty people. #BPD #BPDAwareness #BPDAwarenessMonth
While we do have traits and behaviours that make us this way, we can unlearn being that way with the proper care and treatment.

Unfortunately /some/ therapists believe in this stigma and refuse to helps us, or not give us the correct help.
Of course this then creates a self-fulfilling prophecy, where we feel abandoned, unwanted, undeserving, and suicidal.

It creates a misconception that we can't be helped and that we are just manipulative, toxic, abusive and nasty individuals.
This BPD Awareness Month, I want to celebrate the POSITIVES of BPD, as an example that we are not this way and that we are wonderful people.

Every day for the next few weeks, I will be adding a positive trait of BPD to this thread.
I hope to help individuals with BPD and those who help individuals with BPD see BPD in a positive way.
