Super excited to team up with @rrana03_, @IshikaMukerji, and @sabinerizvi to launch @VcDesi which spun out of our event with @kulfibeautyco a few weeks back. This is a discord group for Desi VCs who are enthusiastic about learning from one another; DM me to get the link!
We will be offering programming to those in the group with iconic desi founders, VCs, and operators to share their knowledge with us all. We'll also host community events to get to know one another, support each other, and learn from one another.
South Asians are 24.89% of the world’s population! This space has BEEN needed and Desi VC representation needs a gathering point: a digital community.
Lastly, @rrana03_, @IshikaMukerji, @sabinerizvi, and I will all be in NYC this summer and will be hosting mini-events to meet up together.
