The coin on the left is now worth $19 in metal.

The coin on the right is worth a few cents of metal.

Both are still 1$ legal tender
Would you rather make $2 an hour with the coin on the left? Or, would you rather make $15 an hour with the coin on the right?

This is the ultimate argument against the minimum wage.

The nominal value of the wage is irrelevant, it's the purchasing power that matters.
Governments have destroyed our money, and no amount of fiat wage raising is going to correct that.

Fix the money, fix the world.
