my theory about the sun news paper and little mix, a thread

the sun is known for being anti-elitist, meaning they will fabricate stories and set celebrities up just to ruin their careers. sometimes this brings down the right people, other times it doesn’t. the sun set up tulisa, little mix’s mentor on the x factor, which ruined her career

a brief explanation of tulisa’s ‘scandal’ which was set up by the sun. she was cleared of all charges and the sun reporter was charged instead, for perverting the course of justice. I would recommend reading more on it.

i also found this from my media booklet on the sun, which is a set product I have to study (unfortunately). this booklet was created by the exam board, which means it has to be accurate.

so many things that the sun have said about little mix have turned out to be right. this information is believed to be coming from an insider that’s leaking things about little mix to the sun. i think the insider is either selling stories to the sun or has been set up by the sun

the reason I think it could be set up by the sun is the fact that they’re anti-elitist and little mix are big celebrities (especially in the uk). the sun have also never seemed to support little mix, creating headlines that set them up or only creating articles that are negative.

i think the sun know that after jesy left would be a good opportunity to try and bring them down. maybe it is just someone twisting the girls’ words to sell a story but i also feel like it is a set up to turn the public against both jesy and little mix. or it could also be true.

the sun could’ve potentially sent an undercover journalist in as part of the girls team, or it could just be someone close to them. this is something we’ve seen them do before. they are most likely feeding information bit by bit, as people are more likely to believe it that way.

i don’t think it is anything personal towards the girls, but they know that people will read a story about them if it’s controversial, which will bring in money for the sun. it also fits their agenda

just a reminder that this is a theory and might not be true. however, there are many reasons why we shouldn’t trust the sun or support them in any way. also, we did not see what went down, and we probably will never know. don’t just consume one side of the story, there may be +
