1/2. A Brixton tale. A long time ago, Boy A was an SMP regular, loved football and even won a Jack Petchey award. An old mate, ex-heroin addict, now many years clean and a drug counsellor, recalled how he used to visit Boy A's home regularly to buy drugs off his parents.
2/2. Often, he'd be jacking up in the bathroom while Boy A knocked on the door, trying to get himself ready for primary school. Boy A is currently serving 6 years for drug dealing. The moral of the tale? Don't judge young people too harshly, you never know what they've endured.
