Just a little thread of appreciation for how beautifully Lauren portrayed Chloe in early S4. You could rly feel how much pain Chloe was in, not only struggling with the magnitude of the reveal (trying to reconcile the Devil persona with the #Lucifer she knows... 1/6
... and accept the changes of her world) and the conflicting infos Kinley tried to make her believe but also struggling between what she was told to do for the "good" of the world and her feelings for #Lucifer. 2/6
Chloe was always crying and I truly believe it was not bc of how scary the Devil was but more bc she knew in her heart that she was in love w/ #Lucifer and was in pain from having to go against her feelings. 3/6
I think she was more scared of what it meant for the world, the celestial thing, & tryna come to terms w/ what it could mean abt her that she loves the Devil. Also (as said in 410), despite what she was doing w/ Kinley, I think she was scared of losing #Lucifer to all this... 4/6
She's a "nobody" but what does it mean that he's the Devil? Surely he has a bigger purpose? What could she mean to him in comparison? She'd lose him to that thing bigger than her&everyone. Paradoxically, that's what would've happened had she gone thru w/ Kinley & what did in 410
I'm glad she came to her senses on her own and realized how devoted #Lucifer was to her, how good and selfless, in the axe scene ❤ and how much she loved him even if she was still confused abt it all at the end of 403. Lauren's acting was *chef's kiss* really ❤😭😭 6/6
