How do I say this without pissing off parents/getting yelled at? I worry about parents who claim to have 0 time for anything they like to do bc of their kids. I worry about the kids, too.
And I don't mean pandemic-specific claims. I understand that the pressures of the last year have been absurd. This predates pandemic stuff.
My mom was a single mother with 4 kids and a full time plus part time job... she still read books. Like my entire life, reading was a huge part of her life and leisure time. Thank goodness! For her sake and just for the sake of modeling behavior.
Also the people who are like "I don't have time to shower, I have KIDS". I worry about you. Seriously.
I realize the years of toddlerhood are different, btw. And I'm not talking about not socializing. I'm literally talking about things you do because you enjoy them - you know, hobbies.
