Going straight to grad school for a PhD is a thing.

Some of our ideas about folks like us "going to get their PhDs" include going later in life/going while working/ going while managing a family. That& #39;s a noble route, but you may be able to take a different path-- you could go straight through.

Getting fully funded for a PhD is also a thing. Don& #39;t let the idea of cost keep you from applying. Some programs give you a stipend that you can use to pay for your housing, food, and other expenses. You might not be ballin& #39; but, depending on the school, you may not be struggling
