I know this raggedy ass hospital will be glad to see the back of us, b/c I have been on everybody's neck.

Seriously. I've learned so much about patient advocacy and what it takes to effectively serve the needs of a super sick person.

B/c my dad has been really broken up over all of this. Even when he's not, he's listening to the doctors and going along with everything they say without question. I think b/c a lot of ppl defer to doctors and are intimidated by their breadth of knowledge.

But I don't defer to anybody.

Lol.
And I'm not really impressed with anyone's breadth of knowledge.

Anybody can make a stupid call on any given day.

White coat or no.

So I've been ridiculous.

And when I needed help, I called over my 2 cousins who are fancy teacher nurses and unit supervisors over in VA Beach and Norfolk.

And they came through and got EVERYBODY right. Lol.
