On the 23rd of April, a Malaysian girl who goes by the username @ant33ater (Ain) on TikTok posted a video exposing her PE teacher. In that video, she said her male teacher was teaching her class about SA and at first everything seemed normal. + (1)
However, as the lesson goes on her male teacher kept on making weird and inappropriate jokes. One of the jokes was "if you are going to r@pe someone, rape someone above 18, not below 18," + (2)
Signifying that there were lesser laws protecting adults than minors. All the girls were silent but the boys and the PE teacher were laughing. Another joke was "if a girl was getting r@ped, she should scream because that's what only girls know what to do, right?" + (3)
He continued on with "And if not, you should just resign to your fate," He also asked the class if boys get r@ped too and he said "yes but they wouldn't want to report it because it felt good getting raped," + (4)
This video went viral and sparked a movement #MakeSchoolASaferPlace in Malaysia and gained support from people outside our country too. People have started to realized how r@pe culture is embedded deep into our society. + (5)
Ain is now currently receiving r@pe threats by her own male classmates and the school is attempting to silence the issue. Even our government stated that the r@pe threats she has been receiving are apparently just "harmless jokes" + (6)

Also, one of the teachers has spread rumours about her (Ain) being autistic, implying that Ain doesn't know or understand what she's doing. (which is ableist) + (10)
