1. Get a password manager. Pay the money for @1Password, you will never ever regret it. If you do, come find me, and we& #39;ll talk about it.
2. Use a unique password for every service you sign into. Every. Service. Unique. Password.

3. Where you can, turn on Multi-factor authentication. If you can use an app like Authy (or embed your MFA in 1Password!) do it. If they only offer text messages, that& #39;s less bad, but it& #39;s still better than NOT having MFA.
4. Don& #39;t share your passwords to your stuff, ever. Not even Netflix. Passwords are like bank statements. Don& #39;t share them.
5. Have a PAPER backup for your Master Password. PAPER. Not on a computer. Put it where you put you put your important documents (birth certificate, marriage license, passport, social security card)
