I think all exams should be open book. It increases note taking skills that are actually used in life and the work place and it would decrease exam stress. It’s unfair to assume all students can retain mass amounts of info. Exams should be application based and not a memory test.

By open book I don’t mean using a text book but more notes students would have prepared

To add to that, open book exams would develop problem solving skills and critical thinking. It would also stop the temptation to cheat too

Should I have done a degree in Politics? Probably.
