Why Shah Rukh Khan is the greatest and biggest megastar of his generation - A massive thread

1. He started his career without any background in this industry. He worked in theatres, slowly made his way into the tv serials and then after going through auditions got his 1st film.

2. Deewana was his 1st movie which got released in theaters. And even though it has great actors like Rishi Kapoor, Amrish Puri in it, SRK managed to create a massive impact on the audience.

3. Within an year, he gave his 1st BB - Baazigar and that too in a genre which was

not even touched by the then superstars. SRK made his name in Bollywood with this performance and was now counted in top 5 actors of that time.

4. Then came his 2nd BB - Darr. Sunny Deol was the number 1 star at that time and Juhi Chawla also had a strong grip among the neutrals

But people who entered the cinema hall as Sunny or Juhi fans came out completely mesmerized by Shah Rukh Khan. He became a sensation after his mind blowing performance and was now called the next biggest thing in Bollywood.

5. He then did Karan Arjun which again was blockbuster

His character was the most appreciated in the film. Komal Nahta gave SRK the full credit (and music as well) for the gigantic business it did.

9. He has been the ranked 1 megastar for 24 years of his career and has never been out of top 3.
