2/ #Dinant, #Belgium - Here are some general views. Dinant is a lovely, historic town on the Meuse River, home of Adolph Saxe, inventor of the saxophone. A stunning citadelle overlooks the town and the church has the largest stain glass in the world.

3/ #Dinant #Belgium - lovely 12th C #NotreDame de Dinant cathedral sits on site of older 10th century Romanesque church destroyed by boulders falling from adjacent cliff. Voila the beautiful south stain glass window, supposedly the world's largest!

4/ #Dinant #Belgium - Across the Meuse River is wonderful Grotte de Dinant La Merveilleuse (Cave of Dinant the Marvel). It lives up to its name. We simply walked there.

5/ Where is Dinant? Let's set the scene from Google Maps. From Brussels, it's 1:40 by train along the beautiful Meuse River. The station is on the west bank across the river from the main part of town. Walk across the Charles de Gaulle bridge, and you're there.
