So #NFTs are everywhere - WTF are they and why should you care you ask? Here's a little thread i've created to distill my thoughts

So what's special about NFTs?
Gimme an example? Sure thing: #NBATopShot but @garyvee 's #veefreinds that were launched yesterday are probably a better example (i'm very excited to see how Veefriends does btw!)
So an NFT is simply a file that lives on the blockchain
Critically, there's more to NFT's than Digital Art. Because they are files that live on the blockchain, they benefit from the qualities of the blockchain...
NFT's will enable things like access to #communities, power the future creator economy, solve problems like on-time payments for freelancers (and much more) etc.. I personally think their utility to provide access to websites will be a key use case in the near term.
