As we continue to discuss the impacts of COVID-19, I want to share a thread with all the work the @UMassAmherst ADVANCE Team has done on the topic.

First, we’ve created a tool with best practices to help faculty members document pandemic impacts. 1/

We ( @JoyaMisra & @EthelMickey) published a paper reflecting on the UMass response to COVID-19 and explored the ways in which these responses contribute to a more equitable climate for faculty. 2/

We published a second paper specifically focused on addressing and documenting COVID-19 impacts for faculty, including the use of pandemic impact statements. 3/

We’ve also spoken to various groups at institutions across the country and are working to curate a Google Drive full of slide decks, resources, and example materials.
