that she admires my friendships and how much I invest in them and she thinks that queer people form strong friendships which we use to replace our biological families because we know we may not get the support we need from them. This struck me hard cos I had never considered this
She was definitely right! I am very close to my sisters but for eg I cannot tell them when a yoruba man runs me street

This is also why I feel very sorry for queer people who announce how they don't keep queer friends cos they don't like 'drama', like I actually feel sorry for them eyaa. IH is keeping you from enjoying wholesome and affirming friendships, god will hill you
