Thread on Shekhar Gupta’s attack on @Tejasvi_Surya. On 29 Apr, Shekhar Gupta, out of the blue, accuses Tejasvi Surya of missing in action, despite knowing well that the MP was doing rounds of various hospitals in Bengaluru. Why only Tejasvi Surya? Think about it.

On 4 May, Tejasvi Surya unearths the bed scam. So, despite best efforts by Shekhar Gupta to distract Tejasvi to come out and answer Shekhar, Tejasvi manages to find the root cause of shortage of beds. Does that imply that Shekhar knew what Tejasvi was trying?

Surely BBMP is no apostle of good governance. Did someone tip him off and did he decide to distract Tejasvi? We will never know an answer for this. Apparently, this agency responsible for handling operations of bed allotments had all Muslims.

The MP and another MLA voiced a concern as to why people from only one community were doing this task. And now when the cover was blown, the entire media canal is trying to do damage control for the Congress (who ruled BBMP just until Aug 2020).

And now, almost all leftist media organisations are calling Tejasvi a communal hate monger and trying their best to discredit his findings.

And now the Karnataka Congress is back to what it does best. Create morphed pictures. This time they edited some random photo of Tejasvi Surya with some ladies and put the bed scam kingpin lady’s pic in that photo!

And then we have that actor who is comparing a rightfully elected MP to a terrorist who attacked the nation and killed many innocents.

Surely, the media led by Shekhar wants to make it very difficult for @Tejasvi_Surya . It’s almost like them saying, “if you want to win a battle in Bengaluru, you might have to pay a price by losing the war in Delhi! We will ensure that you get discredited at every opportunity!”

Kannada Public TV Ranganath invited @Tejasvi_Surya on 9PM bulletin & let him speak eloquently about d scam per se. But then as a final comment, when Tejasvi wanted to point out Congress was needlessly punching holes, he just did not let him finish, shouting “no politics”!

Congress is getting a free whitewash to cleanse themselves of this scam from New Delhi to Bengaluru! Why is this so? Is this because the same kingpin is involved in bed shortages in Mumbai and New Delhi too?

Looks like Dhanya Rajendran who “claimed” a bed scam on 29 Apr to highlight state of affairs in BBMP hospitals, refused to acknowledge it being unearthed by @Tejasvi_Surya . Instead she herself whitewashed it and painted the MP as communal! Nice job journalist!
