how I am able to eat + 75g of protein while restricting & more, a thread
first let’s talk about how eating lots of protein can help you lose weight!
1. it’ll keep you full!
protein can cut down sugar cravings as much as sixty percent!
several different lines of research have all pointed to the same thing: higher protein intakes tend to provide more satiety and LESS hunger
2. it preserves lean muscle tissue when dropping weight (so when you lose weight the majority of it will be fat)
friendly reminder:
3. protein increases the thermic effect* of food
*it takes some energy to break food down, digest it, and turn it into energy. So the thermic effect is the cost of digesting your food.

Protein has the HIGHEST COST of all the micronutrients

during weight loss, overeating protein results in much less stored body fat than overeating in carbohydrates or fat!

What I do to get lots of protein while high restricting:

Basically I tend to eat foods with high protein!

Here’s a list:
WHEY POWDER

Whey is amazing and versatile!
(I recommend the isolate one since is not that expensive and has lots os protein)
You can take with milk or even make sweets with it (amazing for sugar cravings since you are eating something you want with lots and lots of protein)
MILK

I prefer the skimmed one but here are some options!
(always prefer the ones with protein)
EGG

i usually eat 2 eggs per day!
BEANS

They are yummy, healthy and have lots of fiber too!
CHICKPEAS AND LENTILS
I believe in rice supremacy

rice is one of my safe foods!
It is not high protein but helps me get to my intake goal
more foods!
plant based protein and some animal based protein
