We must build leaders with an understanding of multi-domain effects. Last week @USArmyMCCoE led an effort w/ the brightest minds @USArmy to modernize our C2 network. Sound complicated? It is. Buckle up here’s some C2 literacy for you #WarriorDevWednesday @TRADOC @usacac
The week’s theme was “JADC2 Data sharing with mission partners.” JADC2 requires getting right data to right ppl at right time to make decisions. It’s about enabling decision in a faster/more lethal fight. It’s more than your BN. We don’t fight alone. How do we get it to everyone?
1st it takes assured transport. The gateways, edge nodes, radios etc and links in between. Redundant and flexible to see and adapt to the OE and the ENYs vote. We went deep on that future integration of tactical network in fires community and how to protect DoDIN-A
2nd it takes a common digital operating environment—the apps, data, and storage to connect across WFF & classification to garner effects like LRPF for faster kill chains. We looked at future software/hardware updates and how we will integrate data analytics and decision support
3rd is interoperability with our mission partners—technical, procedural and human. We reviewed WFX 21.4 for implications of future mission partner environments to include secret releasable and the backbone to train it at home station
4th-CPs must be survivable and mobile. Forget the tents. The next wave of future C2 platforms is in fielding and testing in the force. Now it’s about sequencing training and fielding with REARMM.
Big thanks to our teammates whose expertise and candor made it successful @usacac @TRADOC @armyfutures @ARCYBER @ArmyASAALT @PEOC3T @PEOSoldier @PEOEISPAOffice @peogcs @USAICoE @FortBenning @OfficialFtSill @DEVCOM_C5ISR
