Now here's a conundrum... I've been shortlisted for an award, which would normally be lovely. But the ceremony is happening tomorrow, and I haven't been invited.
In fact, I found out about the ceremony from an article in which my name (and the names of two other shortlisted playwrights) was mysteriously absent. A mistake that's still not been rectified...
...which means nobody knows about the ceremony now, because they've just gone silent. Is a ceremony still a ceremony if nobody attends it?
I mean there are some other very fishy things about this business, those are just the headlines.

Gotta love this industry, eh?
