They lied when they told you that Scotland& #39;s place was as an equal partner in a UK at the heart of Europe. I can see that now. And looking back, I am sorry to say that I did not see it before. But it has been a lie for a long, long time.

Scotland has been the English magic money tree for a long old time. They took the oil revenue and & #39;spaffed it up the wall& #39;. The idiots didn& #39;t even invest it for the future. They literally wasted it.

I had the privilege of studying in Scotland. I spent five years in Scotland, have many Scottish friends and I care about it and them.
Scotland is an outward-looking, modern European country.
They& #39;ll tell you that you& #39;re too small to survive alone. Well, you& #39;re not.

I am Croatian and Croatia can survive and thrive as a small independent country - so can you. You just need to do it.
And like Croatia, you are not alone. You are European.
