Been reading through the depth chart projections for each team on The Athletic and there are tons of fantasy-relevant nuggets so starting a thread with some of the most interesting things I find (will add more as I get time to read through them). Check it out below.
Unshockingly, it's going to be extremely difficult to parse out the main guy in Buffalo. However, as @LateRoundQB often points out, one key factor in becoming a breakout RB is being in an ambiguous backfield. I'd put my money on Moss as the potential breakout in his second year.
Preston Williams is going to find himself on the outside looking in with the addition of Waddle and Fuller. This is going to be one hell of a WR group - all the pressure is on Tua now.

Also, (potential) RIP to our Laird and Savior.
The initial projection for the Jets has 2nd-round pick Elijah Moore as a backup to start the year. Not super surprising, but keep in mind that Jamison Crowder is still a potential trade/cut candidate, in which case Moore would fit in well as the slot option.
No need to say any more about the Bengals as Adam already pointed out the indication of Mixon as a true workhorse back. Top 5 RB status is firmly in the range of outcomes for Mixon this year. https://twitter.com/adamlevitan/status/1389781681448570880?s=20
Rashard Higgins filled in quite well in OBJ's absence last year, finishing 3rd on the team in targets, and will be the favorite to be WR3 in 3-WR sets. But, as you can see, lots of questions at WR beyond 2021, so there are potential opportunities for buy-low stashes in dynasty.
Not a ton of surprises for Pittsburgh's playmakers and most of the focus is on their OL, and rightfully so. The big theme with their OL is youth, which isn't necessarily a good thing. Looks like only one of PIT's draft picks is projected to start (Kendrick Green at center).
It'd be a damn shame if Bateman ended up stuck behind Watkins. I think Baltimore would be much better suited shifting Watkins to the slot as he spent nearly half of his snaps in the slot in the past two years (per PFF).
What gets lost in the Texans drafting Davis Mills in the 3rd round is that it was their first pick of the draft. No, the investment isn't the same as a 1st-round pick, but they clearly want to see what he's got. Could be a solid late-round QB target in superflex dynasty leagues.
TY Hilton will enter this season at 31-years-old. Behind Pittman and Campbell (who should play ahead of Hilton) things for the Colts WRs are...thin. Not great for Wentz who has struggled without star WRs. That said, I think Pittman has a chance to be a solid fantasy WR2.
The best part about the Jaguars' starting WRs is all of them having a Jr in their name... Behind Chark, who knows how this will play out. Collin Johnson played well down the stretch and I expect would've been the #3 if not for Marvin Jones (who is 31) coming in.
Not sure what else to say about the Titans other than this offense will run through Henry and AJ Brown. At tight end, it looks like it's the Firkser show, who played well last year, but this suggests that the Titans aren't done at filling the Jonnu Smith hole.
IMO the highlighted section is key for Javonte's 2021 outlook. Gordon didn't show much last year, just depends if the Broncos use the right guy. Lindsay left behind about 12 opportunities/game, so wouldn't be shocked to see Williams with ~10 opps/game to start (and room to grow).
One last gasp of air for Hardman truthers? Really the saving grace for him is the dearth of reliable pass-catchers behind Hill/Kelce. Lots of hype from the front office WRT getting Hardman involved, but he needs to take advantage of his opportunities. Good best ball target iyam.
The biggest question in the Raiders WR corps is how much of Agholor's targets will go to Ruggs vs. Brown (Agholor had 37 targets of 15+ air yards last year). Bryan Edwards looks like he could be a sleeper, too, as the X receiver in the offense (though that's really Waller's job).
For those worried about Donald 'Chicken' Parham getting usurped by Tre' McKitty, every piece I've seen about McKitty refers to him primarily as a blocking TE and how the Chargers will use him as such. Jared Cook is a bigger threat since the new staff added him during free agency.
There was a ton of hype for Blake Jarwin last offseason and that's.....gone? He's coming off of a torn ACL, but he will immediately slot back into the TE1 position upon his return.
Saquon is the main guy, no doubt. But as I made the point with Latavius Murray and Chuba Hubbard this morning, Devontae Booker shouldn't be going undrafted (Underdog ADP of 215) even if the Giants use a committee if Saquon gets hurt again (hopefully not).
I honestly didn't know that Jordan Howard was on the Eagles again until now. There seems to be a lot of confidence that Sanders is the "unquestioned top running back" despite how crowded this backfield is. If Gainwell does get used like Hines, then Sanders is in trouble.
The Washington WR competition (behind McLaurin and Samuel) is one that I'll be paying very close attention to with Fitzpatrick's proclivity for slinging the ball. Looks like Dyami and Cam Sims are the favorites to be the 3rd WR, but this is as wide open as any positional battle.
Now that Chicago has a competent QB, lots of eyes are on the WRs. Aside from Robinson:Mooney, nobody seems safe. Chicago’s obviously frustrated with Miller, so Dazz Newsome might get a shot (which would help @peteroverzet and @FieldYates), but unlikely he gets a huge opportunity.
I know Kerryon Johnson is gone now, but naming Jamaal Williams the 1b to Swift’s 1a is....something. This is just a projection from the best writer, but Swift is not in the clear as a workhorse.
Nothing groundbreaking for the Vikings, but want to use this opportunity to remind people that Kyle Rudolph is no longer with the Vikings. Irv Smith is in line for a career-high workload, but will still probably be the 4th option behind Jefferson, Thielen, and Cook.
Not a ton of detail for the Packers as their situations are pretty straightforward and there’s definitely nothing weird or ambiguous about the team’s situation. In all seriousness, Amari Rodgers and Lazard look to battle out the slot role, but I just wish they’d push out MVS.
