There has been a lot of contraversy surrounding Mikel Arteta's time managing Arsenal, my theory is that Pep has brainwashed/is blackmailing Mikel and gave him a glowing recommendation so that Arsenal would appoint the man so that Arsenal will not provide competiton to City

Example 1: Mikel has treated a lot of our young players poorly which is perfect for a manager trying to sabotage the club, there is no other explanation for him shipping off our best centre -half Saliba and halting his development. Or not giving willock or Martinelli game time

Example 2: Mikel has shown time and time again his lack of tactical nuance, highlighted by his most recent loss against Villarreal and his position in the league table this season and the previous one failing to qualify for europe twice despite having the 2nd/3rd best squad (1/2)

(2/2)Mikel has had mentoring from Pep, and Bielsa and Pochettino have acknowledged his knowledge of the game this must mean that he has some ability as manager, however he has us 10th. All factors point towards the blatant fact that he is actively sabotaging us

Example 3: Mikel has had a lot of bizarre press conferences almost as if he is trying to tell us something, or that he is trying to enrage the fanbase without giving too much away in the hopes that he gets sacked

Analyzing all of these factors, the conclusion that I have come to, and am surprised that no one else has figured out is that Mikel still loves the club, and might even be a good manager however he is being blackmailed by a external source, likely Guardiola
