Jurgen Klopp: A thread exposing the biggest sabotage job in football history
Note: This is a 100% serious thread that dissects evidence to prove why Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is working with owner John Henry to completely destroy the club from the inside
Let's start with Klopp's first season with Liverpool. In 15/16, Jurgen Klopp came in to replace Brendan Rogers who was very clearly out of his depth to manage a declining Liverpool. Klopp had done an excellent job with Dortmund and it looked like a no brainer to hire him
He quickly won over the fans with his brand of gegenpress football. Liverpool at times blew teams completely out of the water, mostly big teams. And the famous comeback against Dortmund brings sweet memories to Liverpool fans.
Gullible Liverpool fans fell more and more in love with Klopp with every passing day. But little did they know this comeback was just a way for him to fully win their trust. Liverpool ended up losing the Europa League final against Sevilla.
Onto next season. Liverpool start the first half of the season very brightly but the cracks start to show when AFCON starts. Liverpool drop from first place into a top 4 scrap. But on the last day, Liverpool do qualify for the Champions League
The result? Klopp wins the complete and absolute trust of the Liverpool fanbase. People are ready to take a bullet for this guy, he's a god amongst men at Liverpool. No one will ever doubt him. But what has he done? Just scrap top 4 against a heavily declining and worse Arsenal
17/18 is when the evidence starts to surface but the love for Klopp is also at an all time high. Liverpool played one of the best brands of football in the world last season and they have only gotten better in 17/18. Klopp above all odds has taken them to a UCL Final and top 4
Evidence #1: Željko Buvač

Inexplicably before a crunch semi final tie, Klopp’s long term assistant Željko Buvač went on a little “break.” It was soon found out that he has indeed left the club
Now what happened? Why would Klopp break a friendship that lasted over 15 years. It can’t be something minor surely. Especially in such a secretive manner? The answer: Buvac was gaining too much power with the tactics at Liverpool.
Buvac was often deemed the “brain” behind Klopp’s success and Buvac even admitted he “did the job of the manager.” And this signaled bad news for Klopp if he wanted to continue his sabotage job. So the easy solution for Klopp was to get rid of Buvac before it was too late
EVIDENCE #2: The Champions League at Kiev

Mo Salah has to walk off after injuring his shoulder in the 30th minute. Klopp has options to replace him, admittedly no one of the caliber to replace Salah. But better options than the one he ends up choosing.
Inexplicably, Klopp chooses Adam Lallana, a midfielder, to replace a forward while 2 forwards (Ings and Solanke who have also played significantly more minutes than Lallana) sit on the bench. Liverpool end up losing the game in part to a toothless attack and 2 howlers from Karius
18/19 is the season when the evidence gets damning for Jurgen Klopp and a lot of fans ridiculed at the time for doubting him start seeing through Klopp's hollow speeches and promises
EVIDENCE #3: Fabinho vs Manchester City

The trip to the Etihad was the biggest test of Klopp’s time at Liverpool and he showed his true colors. And Fabinho, who was starting to hit form and finally find his feet at Liverpool was inexplicably dropped for James Milner vs City
The result? Liverpool lacked control and defensive protection in midfield and ended up losing the game. They could’ve all but sealed the title with a win but Klopp ruined it with a rigid toothless performance
EVIDENCE #4: Ditching 4-2-3-1

At the start of November, Klopp tested out the 4-2-3-1 formation and the results were mind blowing. Liverpool won 11/12 games before facing Man City. The only defeat was when Liverpool played a rigid 4-3-3 at Paris.
Surely it’s a no brainer to continue with the working formula in the biggest game of the season? Not for Klopp I suppose
EVIDENCE #5: Treatment of Xherdan Shaqiri

Shaqiri’s impact was instant. He brought a creative spark to the attack and with every start, he was only getting better. His performances peaked in the brilliant month of December with a notable brace vs Man United
Since the turn of the year, Liverpool’s form dropped and the title was slipping away. The month of February was especially damning as Liverpool dropped 8 points in 6 games
Liverpool especially struggled creatively since Trent Alexander Arnold was injured and it is baffling Shaqiri started only 1 out of those 8 games and came off the bench just twice. This terrible run of form ended up costing Liverpool the title. That’s on Klopp
EVIDENCE #6: Liverpool 0-0 Man United 24/02/2019

In a must win game against United as city were catching up to Liverpool, this was one of the worst tactical disaster classes I have ever seen. United were forced to sub 3 players off due to injury before HT
Perfect opportunity for Klopp to go for the kill, wouldn’t you say?

Instead Klopp plays it safe and it ends up costing Liverpool another 2 points. Liverpool deservedly get held to a boring 0-0 draw as they created 0 chances against a depleted United side.

Disgrace
EVIDENCE #7: Summer 2019

Champions League winners Liverpool were on top of the world quiet literally. No player would’ve said no to Liverpool

What do Liverpool do? Sign a west ham reject and 2 16y/os as statement signings

Oh and how can I forget Origi’s new contract
Surely Klopp should be livid with FSG for such a window? Nope in fact he publicly supports John Henry, citing he’s “really happy” with the squad
“But Aaryan, he could lose his job if he calls FSG out publicly”

Bullshit, Klopp was a godly figure at Liverpool in 2019 and by sacking him, FSG would have had to face the wrath of the entire fanbase. It was impossible for FSG to sack him and justify that sacking
Conclusion from the summer 2019 window? Klopp and Henry’s plan was working smoothly. They won Liverpool the biggest trophy but also cost the PL title while burning out the squad to a crisp. They blinded every Liverpool fan into thinking this success was sustainable when it wasn’t
And the long term effects of Klopp’s disastrous management of his best players and Henry’s severe lack of investment is what we’re seeing today. I’ll get more into it soon in this thread

EVIDENCE #8: Liverpool 19/20

Liverpool 19/20 were a very unique title winning team. Champions as they were deservedly but the underlying numbers were horrifying. A 25 point xG over performance was unsustainable and the reason was the numerous close games Liverpool encountered
Pundits, fans, neutrals everyone commended Liverpool’s mentality to win so many close and late games but that had to stop at some point right? After all, the champions had to show why they’re a cut above the rest by blowing teams out of the water? That happened very rarely
and frankly Liverpool last season were one of the worst elite teams I’ve ever seen. You cannot struggle that much against relegation sides as much as Liverpool did. The title was glorious but was it worth it with all the future damage it caused? Absolutely not
The damage was the severe burning out of various players. Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino the most notable. Both Mane and Firmino were instrumental in Liverpool’s title win with so many late clutch goals and their high energy levels
But you can’t expect players to be at it for 90 minutes every single week. You HAVE to have statpad sessions where you are 3-0 up in the first half in certain games to ease the pressure on the players. That’s how players relax and not get fatigued
But nope Klopp wanted to destroy these players and burn them out to the point where they can’t ever be themselves again. Mane looks physically done, Firmino can’t sprint anymore. Andy Roberson another notable victim of Klopp. They’re all in their 20s, this is on Klopp
EVIDENCE #9: Atletico Madrid

Liverpool drew Atletico Madrid in the RO16 in last season’s champions—a great test for Klopp’s struggling tactics against lowblocks.

He failed miserably.

The first leg was embarrassing, Liverpool had around 75% possession but 0 shots on target
That defeat ended up proving costly as Liverpool’s season crumbled after losing against Atletico over 2 legs. The cracks in Klopp’s tactics were WIDE OPEN
EVIDENCE #10: Lockdown

The coronavirus pandemic shut down football for almost 3 months and Liverpool had struggled before the shut down. God had gifted Klopp time to rethink his failing tactics before it gets too late. But Klopp slept and Liverpool struggled in project restart
EVIDENCE #11: 2021

Liverpool started the first half of the season well. Admittedly with some poor games. But these games, most notably Villa (A), Brighton (A), Fulham (A) were just showing that Klopp needs to change his rigid 4-3-3 tactics ASAP. Especially with the lack of cbs
But the culmination came down to what we’re seeing now. A team shadow of itself who can’t compete at all. Klopp lost 6 home games on a bounce as he dropped from 1st to out of the top 4. During this horrible run of 6 home defeats, Liverpool created a combined 7 big chances
The creativity was horrible to say the least yet game after game Klopp persisted with the exact same tactics and got slapped every single time. You can’t be that stupid to make the same mistakes over and over again for so so long, something has to be fishy
EVIDENCE #12: Salah’s sub

It became obvious to me when during a crucial top 4 game against Chelsea, Klopp subbed of our top scorer while we were chasing a goal. For who? Oxlade chamberlain. We ofc ended up losing that game and top 4 was over with that
My verdict—Klopp is an inside agent that has successfully with John Henry destroyed the very foundations of the club. Players are done physically, he is refusing to learn from his mistakes for over a year now and Henry is showing no signs of investment. Nor is Klopp interested
These guys have won us enough trophies to blind the fanbase of their real intentions. Now after success for a grand total of 2 years, I don’t know where the club goes ahead. No one wants to come to a Europa club, players are refusing to play for the manager and youth isn’t good
We will likely sell super stars like salah and Virgil and invest in mid players like Neuhaus as we’re back to mediocrity. Klopp’s promise to us of sustainable long term success has failed and fans should really start to now see through his hollow comments and speeches
This guy has refused to budge on his declining and expired tactics for well over a year now. You can’t be that stupid to never learn from your mistake. There’s gotta be more
