We exist as a consequence of a poor landlord, who dismissed & ignored our concerns. We were labelled ‘rebel residents’ for wanting our homes to be safe. 72 lives were lost because of contempt and indifference.

4 years since Grenfell & still no legislation has been passed, residents suffer conditions of insecurity, squalor & safety defects yet their voices remain muted. We are calling on the government to include the Social Housing White Paper in the Queen’s Speech on the 11th May
3/5 If implemented, the legislation will hold landlords to account through robust independent inspections, and will professionalise the housing sector. Vitally, a more proactive complaints system for residents will be introduced.
4/5 Social housing must be reformed now. Homes must be made safe as soon as possible. Resident voices must be listened to. We will not stop demanding this change, as we cannot allow homes to kill again. Action now can prevent future deaths and secure our rights to safe housing.
5/5 Let the govt know the time for change is now. We all deserve it given how torturously slow the journey to justice is. We will not be defined by the ill-treatment we received, let change be our legacy 💚
