omad is fasting every day and breaking it with one meal/snack at the same time everyday. i dont restrict myself to omad but i do heavily impose it on myself as it does work extremely well and helps a lot!

i try fasting atleast 2 times a week, sometimes i might try going longer so it does vary. fasting every other day has been helpful and helped a lot with self control!

i pick up diets from twitter and tumblr and do them at least once a month, they’re usually a lot stricter than my usual diet so they help keep me with control. it is good to go on different diets every now and then, restrictive or not :)

self control is the key element with a restrictive diet. set expectations on yourself, create an ideal world in your head which is only achievable with a certain body type. not sugar coating anything helps too, which brings me to my next rule,

i count cals before eating whatever im going to eat, it helps me stay *aware* of my intake. i read everything on the nutrition labels, i use a cal counter and measure them, add the cals up, etc.. i stay aware of my body type, my weight, my intake. +

i know that __ might be healthier than __ , i keep myself aware of everything i do in order to restrict myself. i keep myself aware that extreme hunger and the urge to binge will only last an hour or two, so i keep myself in control.
water intake ;
i always try and drink as much water as i can, ive found that its helped me a ton with not eating, replacing the need for food with a healthier option, water. of course this doesnt mean completely replacing my meal with water, but using it when i feel +

unnecessary hunger! my personal daily intake is 2.5 liters. i always fill 500 ml of water up in a cup throughout the day to get myself to drink.
portion control ;
i almost never use normal sized plates/bowls. i keep my portions small in order to limit my intake, using small plates helps create the illusion of more food, you wont feel the need to fill your plate anymore than it should be.

i take my vitamins to stay safe, primarily calcium! i also try and restrict my sugar and salt intake, as they both create problems. sugar raises insulin, and salt bloats you. i only drink water, green tea and water with lemon. +

i never add extra salt or sugar to anything. i always go for the healthier option of things, for example : sugar - stevia, instead of buying processed foods, i make them myself or find healthier options in the store, i use the lowest cal / no fat version of anything i can.
bingeing ;
i dont let bingeing even be an option, its out of the question and i will never let myself binge. it sounds hard, but staying aware and having self restraint like i said earlier helps a lot. when i lose my weight, i wont be so restrictive with my eating, +

i am an extremely lazy person **but**, i dance, and ive been doing so my whole life. so, i signed myself up for dance classes again, i dance at home when i can, i go on walks and hikes every now and then. i dont stay consistent with proper muscle workouts in fear +

of muscle weight gain, but i do them every now and then. but i do definitely walk / hike and dance more.
sleep ;
morning skinny is the best thing, in order to achieve that you need sleep, therefore.. get your sleep, and get good amounts of it! i get 7-8 hours of sleep at night, i dont allow myself anything under 6.

although this looks like im extremely harsh on myself (which i am) i stay sane by being nice to myself! i praise myself, i create cute meals for myself, which i often share on here. i distract myself with good things. be nice to yourself loves!!
