Yesterday, I met a couple walking their cute dog that turns out was their downstairs neighbor’s dog - who would bark all day while the neighbor (a nurse) was at work - so they just asked if the could hang out at with them whenever she was at work -

& so now the doggo comes to their apartment four days a week and doggo loves them and they love doggo and nurse neighbor loves them & they love nurse neighbor & that my friends is COMMUNITY. I was deeply moved and maybe even got a little teary

and I feel like most of us would have called the building manager or written an angry note - I don’t know if I would even think of that solution that ultimately makes everyone happy
