“[Gratitude] is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others.” –Cicero

Here are 3 ways to systemize it to get you started

#1 is a classic
#2 takes no effort
#3 is new for most people (my favorite)

Let's get into it

*THREAD*
The first one is the one a lot of people talk about, for good reason:

Gratitude journaling!

But how can you get into the habit?
The trick is to not overcomplicate it:

Ideally in the morning, take a couple of minutes and write down things you are grateful for.

Everything goes. Feel free to start with 'small and obvious' things like waking up 👇
Bonus point: If you are in a relationship, write down something you are grateful for about your partner in addition
👇
Gratitude System Number 2
This one is at the end of the day:
When you go to bed simply ask yourself the question - what made today special?
👇
And finally, my personal favorite:

Use physical reminders to invoke the feeling of gratitude.

This sounds a lot more complicated than it is, here is one example 👇
I have a mug, that reminds me to be grateful for my relationship.
Every time I have some tea I get reminded automatically.
You can assign this meaning to everything - give it a try. 👇
So as a quick summary:

1 - start your day with gratitude journaling
2 - end your day by asking why the day was special
3- assign meaning to things you use and take them as reminders to be grateful
