Congrats to all on this fantastic project. I've never had more fun being part of such a depressing assessment. The good news is, lots of room for growth on #publicdiplomacy https://twitter.com/JonathanMcClory/status/1389498177972211712
The recommendations are clear: Listen more. Engage more. Find new players. Be value based.

The agreement between global professionals is clear: the window is closing and we are not on the field in the way we need to be to be successful.
Really proud of my colleagues for not letting a #publicdiplomacy conversation turn into a digital-only conversation. There is no substitute for in person experiences: exchanges, tourism, education...these are HUGE assets and tweeting at someone just isn't going to get it done.
that said, this whole system needs an overhaul. Call it a market, or call it a battlefield, the information space is under attack by authoritarian actors. We're not focused on making America look good. We're saving inclusive #democracy.
I look forward to @StateDept really embracing these challenges and hope @SecBlinken @DeputySecState and others will see this as the wake up call it's intended to be from the people who've been in the trenches.

Congrats again @JonathanMcClory @_KatherineBrown and others!!!
