If you wear glasses and get daily headaches, it might not be the prescription!

Come along for a winding tale...I'll bring it back around, I promise.
Two and a half years ago I started anti-depressants. I started having headaches at the time.

Also at the time I was drinking a freaking ton of caffeine because I had recently had surgery and anesthesia affects me for a long time afterward.
So I looked it up and caffeine can interact with Cymbalta in some cases. So I stopped drinking caffeine cold turkey which suuuuucked.

Headaches didn't go away but I thought they seemed to get better.
Cut to two and a half years later. Have not had caffeine this whole time.

It's post-covid now. Headaches have come back with a vengeance every single day. What could be causing it? I really didn't have a clue.
But I did need new glasses. (I told you I'd bring it back around.)

And the glasses came in, I made a comment to the optician that the arms seemed a lot straighter than with my old glasses.

AND SHE SAID THIS...
"Well, we don't like to curve the arms too much around the ears if we don't have to. They can hit the mastoid and cause headaches."

Me, realizing I got these these glasses at the same time as all that other stuff was going on: đŸ€ŻđŸ€ŻđŸ€Ż
I've had these glasses for a week now and headaches are noticeably less frequent.

Today I had plans but I was incredibly tired so I broke my no caffeine rule. I had 4 Coke Zero's with no headache.

IT WAS MY GLASSES ALL ALONG AND I HAD NO WAY OF KNOWING THAT!
All this to say, if you wear glasses and have headaches, maybe get the earpiece adjusted! Here's a picture. You can see the old one on the bottom is way more curved.

If this helps one person, I'm happy! These headaches were a nightmare and so was being unable to have caffeine 😁
