/ Quick thoughts on crypto art coming for sale while ethereum is rallying...everyone says always think in terms of eth; why?

Most of us are in eth for the long run...few convert to fiat because of cap gains taxes. Don& #39;t forget your taxes.
/ You feel like selling your art now because you& #39;re like ah fuck eth is ripping and my art isn& #39;t, I& #39;d rather own eth. So you sell your art for less eth than you bought it for...AFTER eth has just had a massive rip.
/ Ok fine now you& #39;re long eth. What if it drops back down again? You feel inclined to buy art again coz it "seems" cheaper in usd amount, so you buy art.
/ Voila you have basically bought high and sold low on eth and monetised a loss. Unless you& #39;re actively converting between eth/fiat (which is silly given tax implications) you should be doing the complete opposite of everything above.
/ Seeing some hi-quality cryptoart go for cheap in eth terms, I think that& #39;s good value here. If you look at the smart guys they& #39;re buying. I& #39;ve not bought but I& #39;ve not sold any art in the past 3 weeks; don& #39;t be silly and hit downbids at local lows https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="👍🏼" title="Daumen hoch (mittelheller Hautton)" aria-label="Emoji: Daumen hoch (mittelheller Hautton)">.
