Common things that are actually homophobic ~ a thread 
Thinking all gay men are feminine - not all gay men are feminine and not all gay men act a certain way.
Making fun of feminine gay men - feminine men don’t owe you shit. They don’t owe you masculinity. Let them dress and act as they deem fit. They are their own person.
Calling men fruity for taking care of themselves - this is self explanatory. Being gay has nothing to do with self care.
Calling gay men “limp wristed” - this is a stereotype that used to be very offensive and still is to many people.
Don’t act like mlm and wlw are for your “enjoyment”. We are not your “sexual fantasy”. We are humans like everyone else and our sexual orientations are NOT for you.
Don’t say “that’s so gay” if you aren’t a part of the lgbt community/mean it in a bad way. Being gay is not synonymous with being “bad”.
Do NOT say “you just haven’t met the right girl/guy” to any gay person. It’s very offensive and ignorant.
Lastly - don’t treat wlw and mlm as your “token lgbt friend”. We aren’t your “gay best friend”...we’re literally the same as everyone else.
