hi guys i visited a school house today and I wanna talk about it because it was super cool!! : thread

so a school house is where a school was shutdown or abandoned and people get together to live in it! it’s transforming classrooms with chalkboards and big, chunky lights into livable rooms!

i really should’ve taken more pictures, but ! this school house is consistent of writers, musicians, and artists! there’s arts and crafts EVERYWHERE and they’re currently working on covering the building with more murals and its insane !!!!

everyone there shares the bathrooms and a whole big kitchen !! they said that all of them have become like family and eat dinner together every night and it was such a beautiful concept. also they let their pets roam free !

as you can imagine, since this building is filled with artists, they got this cool as bathroom sign that im absolutely in love with and all schools should definitely take note of

and we got to see an artists room and it was so cool! everything in there had some sort of story to it and it just fills me with a nostalgia I’ve never known :,)
