Every media and football personis posting today about active support and how it's the point of difference of our game blah blah fucken blah.
More lip service from those in power that means nothing.

None of them talking about the riot squad going to the bar pre game, surrounding the bay in the first half to intimidate and not leaving until the stadium was empty. Wouldn't even move out of the way for the players.

Keep talking about "active support and passion" but keep ignoring that those in power and authorities are still doing everything they can to suppress it.

There are rules of engagement that riot squad refuse to adhere to and take things in their own hands and intimidate and instigate just waiting for the opportunity to bust heads. Justifies their presence and invoice to the club.

I had to move out of the bay with my toddler because I was near the aisle and I didn't want these thugs to barge past me and potentially injure me or my family. They still think active support is hooligans and violence which is misguided and bs.

They dictate terms to the club who have to submit. They all talk up "dialogue" which in reality is one way traffic. Active support will never grow if the way things are handled by cops and the riot squad continue. It's been like this since the beginning. Nothing has changed.

The fact that active support has survived and sometimes thrived in these conditions is a testament to the fans and nothing to do with the clubs or the league because both those entities have had their fair share of killing active support too.
