If you’ve ever been on a zoom call with me, you’ve probably seen this sticker. It’s what I see when I go to bed, and when I wake up. It’s a reminder of the first campaign I worked on at just 10 years old, where we flipped a 30 year gop-held county supervisor seat red to blue.

A county supervisor seat may not seem like a lot....so let me add some context. You see, I hail from Hanover Virginia, one of the 5 most ancestrally Republican counties in our Commonwealth. People like me are excruciatingly bullied at school everyday for just being Democrats.

But I’ve *never* let petty bullies stop me, and I don’t ever plan to. They push me to fight harder for every. single. Virginian. No matter their race, gender, or sexual identity, I will continue to volunteer in races up and down the ballot to secure a better Virginia for all.

So no, I don’t do what I do for “Personal Power, Prestige, or Twitter Clout.” I do what I do to help Virginians and our beautiful, best-in-the-nation Commonwealth.
