The Great Rapture Fallacy fully debunked- Part I

The deceptive doctrine  – man made theory called futurism  – which would later become ‘the rapture’ has no biblical foundation.

It was originated and submitted in 1585 by 3 Jesuit priests: Francisco Ribera ,Luis de Alcazar and cardinal Roberto Bellarmine, with the specific goal to counteract the Protestant reformation accusing the papacy of being the antichrist.

So flawed and far from the truth
Was the rapture botched theory, even the pope at that time put it to rest in the archives out of sight.

Later yet another Jesuit priest from Chile Emmanuel Lacunza
Recandled the heresy in his book 'the coming of Messiah in glory and majesty'Published in 1881 in London .

John Nelson Darby an Anglo-Irish evangelist picked up later the torch, giving intense seminars in Europe and during 7 tours in USA swept and convinced other ministers.

The sole purpose of the rapture was to derail the heat the papacy was getting from The 95 thesis of Martin Luther, Protestant reformer, who was exposing them as
'Babylon and Antichrist', in a desesperate effort to distance itself from the Damning Revelation 17 from apostle John.

In that rapture theory,
Placing the great tribulation right after Jesus second return instead of right before, takes away our eyes off the tribulation itself,
since most will be 'raptured’ according to the rapture theory.

By so doing, it dismisses the major ominous role pinned to the Antichrist in The great tribulation.
This deceptive theory also fosters the idea of a 2nd chance for those 'left behind' to repent. (Clever, deceptive diabolic scheme )
It will be Way Too late then!

The fate of the lost and the saved is clearly already sealed at the time of the second coming, there are no second chances...
The window of opportunity is then already closed for ever, just as the door of safety in Noah's Ark was closed by God's angel forever.

Moreover, the lost will already know they are indeed lost when afflicted by the last 7 plagues mentioned in Revelation before Jesus comes... No more time to repent, the time to do so would have been before the plagues;

Actually, their reaction is to the calamities is twofold: they blame it on the faithful and “cursed the God of heaven because of their pains but they refused to repent of what they had done.” Rev.16:10

At the close of probation, Jesus own words in Rev 22:11 are explicit:
“He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still...”

What actually happens to the wicked at Jesus coming?.

2 Thes 1:7-9
“When the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,when He comes...”

Crystal clear! No room for doubt.

2 Thes 2: 3-4
'Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ,
 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day (2nd advent) will not come unless the falling away comes FIRST and the man of sin is revealed,

The son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits
As God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. (Hello, is that familiar?)

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

--So bright and glorious indeed, that only the elect will survive!

Rev 6:14 describes the majestic scene of the 2nd coming:
"The sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and Every mountain and island was moved out of its place.

And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains,

and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

If No one besides the elect survives this event, evidently , NO ONE is “left behind alive to repent” !!!

Since at Jesus 2nd return nobody stays behind ALIVE.. except the devil and his acolyte angels for a 1000 years at the end of which they would be destroyed by fire. Rev 20:1
